CarPlay for your Music Production Pipeline
On November 6, 2025, we, Eric Hoheisel and Janko Böhm, founded SynthHead eGbR.
We believe that music production requires a focus on creativity, and that the processes for operating the equipment must be as simple as possible to free your mind for the music – the result that truly matters.
This is possible with a lot of hardware, but that quickly becomes quite expensive. We’re putting the control of the essential elements of production back into your hands. This allows you to intuitively control the software without having to buy expensive hardware, especially since there is so much excellent software available.
The SynthHead is the device that sits between you and the software on your PC, allowing you to work “properly” with it and avoid using virtual controls with a mouse. Think of it like a fully functional navigation system in your car that always uses the latest Google Maps or Apple Maps, but is perfectly integrated into your vehicle.
